Before comparing

Categories organize—they do not prescribe

A category groups drugs by a shared effect, receptor target, clinical role, or common context. Drugs within one category can still differ substantially in effectiveness, formulation, duration, legal status, and risk. A category name is not a recommendation and does not make two drugs interchangeable.

Beyond prescriptions

Food, drink, supplement, and mineral mixing risks

Selected non-medication exposures can raise or lower drug levels, intensify side effects, or make treatment less effective. Each warning below names the catalog drugs or classes supported by its source.

This is a selected educational screen, not a complete interaction check. Product formulation, dose, timing, kidney or liver function, and other medicines can change risk. Confirm the exact product with a pharmacist or prescriber.
